Gov't to set up blueprint on promoting 3D printing

SEOUL, July 16 (Yonhap) — The South Korean government said Wednesday it plans to draw up a 10-year blueprint for the country’s 3D printing industry to turn it into a new growth engine.

Under the blueprint, the Ministry of Science, ICT and Future Planning and the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy will come up with detailed plans for the local 3D printing market by October after gathering opinions from industry insiders and the public.
