ViKi 2.0 is an easy to use LCD control panel interface designed for 3D printers and CNC machines but can also be used for other micro controller projects. It allows your 3D printer to operate without a PC always connected and provides visual indication of things like temperature and peripheral activity. It can also be used on most micro controller / Arduino projects that require a display and control interface. Give that project of yours a professional looking panel! ViKi stands for Visual Kinetic control Interface. Viki 2.0 sports a 3″ Graphic LCD with white pixels on black background, a micro SD card slot and rotary encoder with push switch. Connects via SPI. Dual color ring light to indicate heating or cooling of printer hotend or heatbed. Uses U8Glib Library for Arduino ( Marlin and Repetier), and natively supported in Smoothieware. Works with Smoothieware, Marlin and Repetier (coming). Tested on Azteeg X3, X3 PRO, X5 mini, Rambo, RAMPS, and will work with most current controller boards. Printrboard users would need the current release of Marlin for the Viki 2 to work, Modifying Printrbot supplied Marlin Firmware will not fit in the Printrboard’s memory space.
